Really Garlicky Garlic Mushrooms

Serves 6
1 lb (500g) large button mushrooms
8oz (225g) butter, softened
4 large cloves of finely chopped really garlicky garlic
1tbsp lemon juice
3oz (75g) breadcrumbs, made using day old bread
3 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Put the whole mushrooms in a buttered ovenproof dish.
Beat the butter in a bowl, add the garlic, lemon juice, breadcrumbs, parsley and salt & pepper. Mix thoroughly. Cover the mushrooms with the butter mixture. Place in a pre-heated oven 200°C , Gas Mark 6 for 10 minutes, until the butter is bubbling and the mushrooms are soft.
Serve with bread to mop up the garlicky juices.
